The Choices in Health Philosophy

Why choose Choices in Health?

That’s the unspoken question each one of our new patients asks before they pick up the phone and call for their first appointment. There are several top-notch urology clinics in the greater Denver Metro area, so why choose us?

We believe the answer to that question is in our name: “Choices.”

Choices in Health offers our patients four types of choices.

ChoicesI. Treatment Choices

We see our patients as whole human beings. The choice about which treatments are right for you is based on healing the whole person that you are, not just the particular health issue or condition that brought you to us.

II. We Treat the Causes Beneath the Symptoms

We look for the causes beneath the symptoms and develop individualized treatment plans based upon the answers to three simple questions:

  1. What is the best way to cure you (highest rate of success, lowest risk of side effects, least invasive)?
  2. How can we reverse the disease processes that brought you to us in the first place?
  3. How has the sum total of your life experience contributed to this condition?

III. Spectrum of Health

We see health as a spectrum, NOT the on/off, black/white approach to medicine that commonly occurs when doctors try to squeeze the maximum number of patents into every hour. Instead, we take the time to understand how your particular set of symptoms creates a clear picture about the state of your health, which is as unique to you as your fingerprints.

For the same reason, we have never practiced the “one pill fits all” approach to medicine — because it fails to take the individual patient into account.

IV. Integrated, Individualized, Intuitive

Our work is based on a deep understanding of the science of traditional western medicine (more than 60 year of combined experience), which is thoroughly supported by leading-edge techniques and complementary medicine such as physical therapy, acupuncture, and pharmaceutical-grade nutritional supplements.

As with all physicians worth their salt, our experience, the success we see with our patients, and our incorporation of new technology (diagnostic and procedural) allows us to couple medicine with wisdom to determine the best possible course of action for each individual patient.
